The role of mentors is most crucial in the first 12 months of a startup as a company goes through maximum experiments during this period, and makes numerous changes in its business model.
Lifetape is a Bangalore and Palo Alto based startup that was founded by a few Indian serial entrepreneurs namely Bijal Mehta and Saptarshi Biswas (both based in Palo Alto) as well as Soumya Das and Chetan Vinchhi (both based in Bangalore).
What we found exciting about Lifetape was the product that they have created.
With Lifetape one can preserve and showcase what is meaningful for oneself. In the current version it is useful for enterprises that want to showcase company events and important happenings. And in a later version Lifetape will be opened up for consumers as well. With it we all will be able to create memorable moments with our family, friends and other important events and can collaborate with others when creating the Lifetapes and then showcase them on our personal website and share the site with others.
The other thing that we found super exciting about the Lifetape team was the level of experience and diversity as well as the level of cooperation between the teams who are sitting in different places and working in different time zones and nevertheless manage to work together very well, which we found very inspiring.
And that is why we look forward to following Lifetape’s journey. And if you want to meet the team, watch our interview with Chetan, Soumya and Neeharika here:
